Technique is Taught at an Early Age
Testing the athletes not only provides feedback directly to the athletes it also provides feedback to the instructors on how the athlete is responding and adapting to the intensities of training. These tests occur on a bi-weekly basis to ensure the athlete is always progressing and adapting to their full potential.
The assessments always include a strength performance test, speed performance test, change of direction test and a total power output test in respect to the individual athlete
In this, the athlete is always competing and bettering with-in themselves as well as each other and as a team. Thus, internally motivating the individual athlete in a team setting which will breed success, no only during the hockey career, but long after a player has retired from the sport, leading to a healthier lifestyle.
