Director of Goalie Training Jackson Germaine

Jackson Germaine

Jackson was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA and started learning to skate at 5 years old. He took skating lessons at the local rink and very quickly gravitated to the goaltending position. After somehow convincing his parents to get him a set of gear, he started playing full time goalie as a mite and never looked back. Although southern California seemed like a smaller hockey market at the time, it was rapidly expanding and still continues to produce high level hockey players.

Jackson played for multiple travel teams growing up including the SoCal Heat, LA Hockey Club, and the California Titans. After winning an NAPHL championship with the Titans in the 11/12 season he played a year in Atlanta, Georgia with the TPH Thunder in the Tier 1 Elite League. He moved to Minnesota the following year and split time between the Minnesota Magicians of the NAHL and TC Steel of the NA3HL. He then spent the next three seasons as the starting goaltender at Lindenwood University Belleville before eventually returning to Minneapolis.

Prior to coaching at Velocity, Jackson worked as a manager at the Bauer Hockey Experience store in Bloomington, MN. He also spent two seasons coaching in the Bloomington Jefferson association with their Peewee B1 and A teams. Jackson has a passion for everything goaltending and enjoys sharing his knowledge and love of the game with the next generation of net minders.
